  • Log in to K3

    1. Buy a subscription as an individual at chat.k3.io or through a representative who could set up an Academy for your organization.

    2. Get a mail from K3 to register. (Check spam in case there is a filter on your side)

    3. Register your account in K3 with a personal password.

    4. Login and use ChatGPT inside K3. Besides getting many other functions in K3, courses and other functions are not in ChatGPT: this example compares ChatGPT only to ChatGPT in K3.

Go to upper right menu to prompt

When you log in to K3, the prompt for sending is available in the upper right-hand corner.

Write and send a prompt request

In this example, we use the same prompt as when you use the ChatGPT. "Write an article about the Keto Diet."

When done, click on Create. When you do, you can send a new request. You can click on the List to see old chats or wait until the View button is lit and the full reply from ChatGPT is completed.
Your focus will not be on reading the reply until the reply is complete.

Clic on View to see the result

When the View button is lit, you click to go direct to edit mode. No need for copy and paste and third-party word processing software.

Since a chat inside K3 is more than a chat in ChatGPT, we call the reply a Material. The reply will be edited, moderated, and molded in the direction you want it to go.

Check the reply in a Material

If you click on the View button from the Top upper right menu when creating a chat request with your prompt in K3, You will enter the reply from ChatGPT inside a Material.

Here, there are many different options and functions in comparison to ChatGPT.  No need for copying and pasting and going to Microsoft Word, Google Docs, or Pages to continue work.

K3 is a Word processor on steroids working along side by side with ChatGPT.

Moderate and Edit with K3 Authoring Tool

In K3 Material, you moderate and edit the reply in a Text Block.

Not only that, K3 has automatically, with the help of AI (and ChatGPT) in the background, helped you in the creative process based on your first prompt.

    1. A Header for the material is created at the top. Similar to the Headline created in the ChatGPT left column.

    2. A Summary of the prompt reply is created in the material. (Only in K3: not made in ChatGPT version).

    3. Tags are automatically created so it's easy to find the material later in the context of the ChatGPT reply. (Only in K3: not made in ChatGPT version).

    4.  An Image related to the prompt is created with AI (with OpenAI Dall-E ) for the memory and printing use saved in the Material (under the Extra tab).

    5. The ChatGTP is placed in the first Text Block in the Text Section. You can add a Text Block with free text or generate a new one with a follow-up question. There are tools for handling one text block or multiple.

    6. You can find the original prompt in the log file in the 3rd column with a finger-symbol.

    7. You can download it with or without editing and moderation to PDF, Word, and CSV.

All these tools help you create your blog post, report, chapter, book, or learning material you use in a micro-course or as a part of a Course.

    8. Save it inside K3. The Chat you have created is automatically saved. You can save your edits as your private draft or publish them to the Academy so other team members can use them for their purpose. Or publish it in the public sector in the K3 Ecosystem so all K3 Academies can access this Material.

    9. With only one click, you can duplicate the text block with or without translated content to another language. You can split text blocks into different Materials. You can reorder the Text blocks. You can overview by collapsing one or all text blocks. You can combine many text blocks into one. You can edit the Headlines in each Text block if it's AI-generated in a fashion you don't like. You can moderate and mark facts or fiction you need to look up. You will see all text blocks as being AI-generated, manually, or edited.

This is how ChatGTP should have looked like from the very beginning. This is VIP or K3 Business Class, and ChatGPT, in its fantastic functionality, looks "old-school" and Economy class in comparison.

Edit and find Material from the List view

If you click the List button in the first Slide-In, you will see the Materials list. The same applies when you go to the left menu in K3.

In ChatGPT, these Chats are on the left menu. Here in K3, you can hover over the headline and see a pen to view and edit.

With the Filter in K3, you can easily find the chats and click on any tag to filter.

Time saving are substantial and ROI is easy to count

Is this complicated? Compare the jumping from ChatGPT to Word, copying to Google Translate, and going back to Word. Returning to ChatGPT and creating an image through a different software, plugin, or GPT?

The time you save with K3 on every Chat is substantial. Our estimation suggests 50% less time every time you write something and use ChatGPT with K3 instead of ChatGPT only.

If all teams use K3, the effect will show very fast, and the ROI is less than a month for a year subscription. Most likely sooner than that!

    Download a PDF version

K3 has made an image from ChatGPT when you first prompted. If you want to Save a PDF, just go to Download in the upper right 3rd column inside the Material and click on Download.

    Print a PDF

The Material is ready to Print in a PDF version as soon as the ChatGPT has replied to K3.

It will blow your mind when you realize the time it saves to create great reports in K3 with the built-in ChatGPT!

  • Open ChatGPT
Register at chat.openai.com. Log in and open ChatGPT and start prompting. (prompting= Sending a request for the AI to reply upon.)
    Write a prompt
Write a Prompt in the bottom of the screen. In this example: "Write an article about Keto Diet."
    Wait for the reply
ChatGPT start to develop a reply. You normally need to sit and wait for the Large Language Model to create a unique answer. This is facinating. Well. The first time or so. Then this time waiting is mostly disturbing your focus. We feel its like watching a dry cleaner wash your clothes. It can take 10 seconds. It can take 30 seconds. It can take a minute. It might feel forever. It can be interupted. And you need to try again. But most people think its great to wait in lines and not go Fast Track.
    Wait a bit longer.
And wait a bit more. Evemtually its done.
    Copy when ChatGPT is done
When its done normally you love the result! Each time the AI will reply with an unique answer based on the LLMs database and algorithm. The lenght can be different. Prompting is a skill you need to learn. K3 has courses in prompt engineering. You read and evaluate. Then you copy the full text because ChatGPT is not like K3. You can not edit here.
    Open a Word Processor
Without K3: Please use a Word processor like Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Pages or Notes. Open any of these and continue.
    Paste and Edit
Paste the text from ChatGPT and start to edit. Well. The copied text is in HTML format. So the pasted text does not look great when you paste it. Do we need to point out that millions have this frustration not using K3? There is no Headline created so you need to manually create this. There is no Summary so you need to fix this as well. All the Paragraphs that looked so good in ChatGPT is pasted in HTML format so you need to spend time fixing this with your Word software skills.
Go back and create an image.
With an image related to the subject: You can use ChatGPT. So return to this software. Go back to ChatGPT. And install a plugin. Or a GPT. Or ask a friend, google, youtube or prompt how OpenAI has made the latest version of image. Because it has changed in 2023. The quality of text to image has improved. Perhaps you can use MidJourney. Or Leonardo. Or Stable Diffusion for image creating. Or go to Shuttlestock and buy. While K3 users already automatic has an image to the article created from the original prompt: We prompt the answer and then we added Dalle E inside ChatGPT and then we created an image with copy and pasting the original prompt and then.. and then and then. You get the "picture". It is a hassle without K3.
Image created in ChatGPT with DALL-E

Let us be clear! Text-to-image is a GREAT feature in ChatGPT. We have this in K3 as well. It's just more complicated since you start a new process and a new chat in ChatGPT, whereas in K3, it's already made from the first prompt. Integrated in Material so you can work faster.

Go back to Word processor and add the image

When the image is created in ChatGPT. You need to save it on your hard drive.

To use it in another application like a Word processor.

Go back and import the image created

Then, once, you have learned how to use DALL-E in ChatGPT, spending some time that K3 users don't need to spend time on, you created an image. After creating an image or finding one you like, you need to go back and add it to the Word document.

And paste it into the Word document. It takes some time for ChatGPT users who are not using K3.

This moment can take up to 10-15 minutes. We did a record speed of 3 minutes, with all the steps required. Go back to ChatGPT. Load DALL-E application. Prompt the same prompt as we had before. Right-click to download the image. Rename it so we can remember it for the future without being a computer.
Go back to the Word document and paste it from the menu.

Sure: Not all documents you work with need illustrations. But the hassle this takes makes you not do it in ChatGPT even when it's appropriate and enhances the reading for the reader of the document you produce. As a K3 user, you are used to this. It's like the glass of champagne you are served in Business Class that you never get in Economy class.

    Ready to Print from Word

After editing the document by hand you are ready to print. We assume this will take just as much time in Microsft Word, Google Docs, or K3, even if K3 is easier to use.

Compare the results after the time consumption in Dall-E

Compare the results after the time consumption in Dall-E. Now, it looks basically the same. You need, however, to spend more time using ChatGPT and a Word processor if you don't use K3. You need to create the Headline, Summary, and Subheadlines.

The text in these examples is not the same due to the fact that ChatGPT generates different text every time.
